ConSeC 26, is the Association of Security Consultants (ASC) annual conference and exhibition, and one of the UK’s leading events for executive level security practitioners.

Taking place on 29th October 2026 at the Hinxton Hall Conference Centre near Cambridge, the event brings together practitioners, innovators, and thought leaders from across the security sector for a full day of presentations, networking, and specialist exhibitions.

This year’s theme, Smart Cities, Smart Security: Where Urban Innovation Meets Intelligent Solutions, is an exploration of how advanced technologies and intelligent, interconnected solutions are redefining the security, connectivity, and resilience of modern urban environments, analysed through both the pragmatic, real‑world lens of professional security consultancy and the evidence‑driven perspective of academic research.

The programme includes two seminar streams running across the day. One is designed for consultants and industry professionals, and the other brings in academic and research perspectives. Visitors can follow the sessions that best match their work and interests.

Alongside the seminars, more than 30 exhibitors will be showcasing their solutions, with live demonstrations throughout the day. It's a chance to see what is being developed, ask questions, and understand how things perform outside of a brochure.

ConSeC 26 is a space to meet people doing similar work, share ideas, and step away with something useful. If you're interested in where security is heading in smarter cities, this is a good place to be.

Further details, including the full agenda will be available soon via the ASC website (ascuk.org).
