The inaugural Power25 Leaders list for 2026 has been released, celebrating 25 individuals who are helping to shape the future of security through leadership, innovation, influence and sustained industry commitment.

In compiling the list, Security Buyer considered a broad range of impact. That includes technological influence across areas such as access control, video surveillance, identity, interoperability, intelligent security systems and cyber-physical resilience. It also includes social and professional influence: those using their platforms to advocate for better practice, support frontline workers, champion inclusion, mentor others and improve the way the industry develops its people.

The final Power25 reflects the breadth of the modern security landscape. It includes manufacturer leaders, association figures, consultants, campaigners, public safety advocates, cyber specialists, end-user voices, standards pioneers and those working to improve the industry from within.

Some are already widely known across the sector. On the other hand, others represent newer, emerging or more specialist areas of influence. As a result, all have earned their place through meaningful contribution.
