The Government's ban on single-use vapes hasn't solved the issue - students are still finding ways around it?
This solution uses a stand-alone, licence-free Vape Detector that can be easily integrated with wider security systems.
In this demo, I've connected the detector into an Ajax System using the Ajax MultiTransmitter. While Ajax don't currently have a dedicated vape sensor, this setup shows how you can:
- Detect vaping activity in restricted areas like toilets or classrooms.
- Receive instant alerts through the Ajax app or control panel.
- Integrate seamlessly with existing security infrastructure.
As an added example, I've also wired in a TAKEX Flame Sensor, showing how multiple safety and detection devices can be obtained into on reliable system.
